I just saw a soi-disant "leftist" gloating over Trump's victory and explaining how everything was going to be just fine.
Which made me think: 1. You have a lot of privilege not to be affected; and 2. Disinformation hasn't merely been successful on the right. This is a typical Putinesque pincer movement, attacking the center with propaganda from the left and right simultaneously.

@DavidSalo A liberal friend who also surprised me with its not so bad rhetoric. Then explained how "Musk believes in universal income from documentaries they have seen." Looked it up think they are referring to talk show comments where he said something about people will need money when robots take over doing all the work.
That isn't universal income and its not something that would happen by him or in this lifetime. People as so lost they are voting for fake lottery tickets vs solutions. 😢
