The MAGA news cycle doesn't leave much room for real news. It is so upsetting when natural disaster relief efforts news could be pushed aside by Trump's bullshit.
In 2015, my parents #NorCal town burned down (their house survived). FEMA was there within days giving people money so they could eat.
Life was better before MAGA's lies overtook the nation.

@Bix The $750 they keep tossing out also is not the FEMA total, its the EMERGENCY funds - for right now needs and can hit accounts within hours of application. Thats to help until they can get there and start providing for the greater needs.
Absurdity of all the MAGA complaints is that Trump will disband FEMA and Project 2025 ends funding for NOAH. So not only will people not get help they will get no warning of a pending weather event to prepare or evacuate.
