If your plan is vote by mail get it done now. An Appellant suit in MS questions counting mail in ballots received past election day. No mater who wins the GOP or the State GOP it will likely be taken to the SCOTUS. Being evil this case might go fast and could easily invalidate nationally all ballots recvd post Nov 5th.
NoJoy is saying to allow 2 weeks for mail in ballots. (double that please)

@Lucky188 SF allows you to drop them in secure boxes around the city, so you don't even have to deal with the Postmaster's broken system.

Hand deliver to board of election instead. That’s what we did in Asheville. Gave us receipt.
