With pancakes being a current topic I thought Id add a historic recipe.
We are coming up on Rosa Parks Birthday (Feb 4th) her home was set to be demolished and saved by a German investor - but that meant dissembling it and moving it to Germany. In that process a hand written recipe was found. Time/place connects to Washington-Carvers pushing use of peanuts into the mainstream.
These maybe the fluffiest/best pancakes Ive ever eaten.
I use sugar free syrup to avoid that, but do like peanut butter in them.
