Ok residents... about to make my first return visit to your city in over 20 years this fall. With three days to kill, what are your must see/do recommendations?

@LotSixteen

Boston duck tours used to be a favorite when folks came into town to see us.

They are pricey but have a discount coupon if you like to tour early.

They are also historically correct.

And... fun!

@KazzyH I plan to. This visit should be considerably more relaxed than the last. How practical is it to try and schedule a side trip to Salem while there?

@LotSixteen

Maybe a bit longer than 2-3 hours if you are eating. But certainly it can be done as a side trip.

I loved the house of 7 gables and the Peabody Essex museum.

I've gone during Halloween which was next to impossible due to crowds. Hopefully not as crowded during the summer months but it is a tourist destination.

@KazzyH We plan on getting there early on October 13th and heading back on the 16th. What is the best option for getting there?

@LotSixteen

I would check out the train schedule. It's an easy 30 mins and it's direct. Unsure about the hours though.

Driving in Boston is a challenge.

@LotSixteen

Weekends in October will be prime time in Salem so perhaps add a bit more time onto the trip. 👻🎃
