Dear any and all political posters:
Get loud, get angry, get active, harass the fuck out of your leaders (plural, and with public identities), or just shut the fuck up about a thing you clearly have no interest in changing.
@Lizardguy64 We don't have to go guillotines and pitchforks and torches, if we'll actually do the work to fix this mess now.
If we don't fix the mess, eventually it always ends in pitchforks and torches, and governance by those who solve their problems by violence and mobs. You don't want that. It always leaves the violent in power and the enlightened headless.
@Lizardguy64 I keep asking questions, when people are outraged:
"What are you going to do about it"
"Why don't you stop them from doing that."
"Are you going to let them get away with it"
Many of my local/state politicians know me on _sight_.
Go do something. Break something. Stop traffic. Yell at their houses. Ruin their dinner. Show up at their rallies. Sue them. Campaign against them. Stop asking permission.
Raise hell! It shouldn't be hard, as we're already living there.
