Now that Steamboat Willie is Public Domain, I was finally able to see it in full. Now I don't get the hype.
@Kinnison Well, yeah, history and stuff, but it was like.... fairly average even compared to other toons from the time.
Maybe that's just the "I grew up with Cartoon Network's Looney Tunes reruns" part of my brain though

it was the first appearance of Micky Mouse.
kind of like Action comics #1 with the first appearance of Superman
