Walking our dogs, my Cherokee neighbor just told me this moon is called Worm Moon as it marks the unthawing of the earth and the rising of worms through the soil.
Native people are so in touch with the earth.
@LnzyHou it is the Crow Moon in the northeast, because we do not have any native worms here. they were all wiped out by the glaciers
