Anyone have suggestions for cold weather gasoline generators? 1200 - 1500 watt.

Use to love Champion, but when had to replace last two new ones were junk. Never ran right and one died 12 months in.

Mostly run in winter. Use for lights, charging small battery bank.

@LindaWisner

I only have general maintenance suggestions that you probably already know.

From what I recall from my snow blowing days in Minnesota, gas with the least ethanol and deoxygenated (usually 89 or above), and regular oil changes made the engines last longer.

As with everything, check with the manufacturer's recommendations. This is just stuff I recall. I live in California where I need a snow blower as much as you need ice cubes.

Yes we only use non ethanol gas in all our small engines. Have to drive an hour to get it. Some high octane racing gas. We also do regular oil changes. Thanks 😊
