The dilemma of the rock. This rock is hand sized with a grip that fits the hand and clearly was used for pounding. It weighs 5-6 lbs. It was found on the Michigan family farm settled in the 1850s, in an area they believed was of Potawatomi heritage. It’s been passed down and I have it. It seems silly to just drop it in the woods. I’ve written to indigenous groups and universities and no one even responds. I’m trying to figure out what to do with it.
