@LindaGoodliffe I think you may have gone 4 words long with that statement๐ .
@Ironworker229 So true! ๐๐ It was a gift. I resisted as long as I could. Sheโs a good alarm clock and tells me about the weather. ๐คทโโ๏ธ
@LindaGoodliffe True story: Went into Verizon store to replace 16 yo Son's phone, 6-7 years ago when Alexa was new-ish and the sales girl offered a free Alexa. I declined and, when asked why, said "It's kinda creepy." She looked at Son and asked what he thought..."Yeah. It's creepy." Got the phone and left.๐ Having said that, I have friends that use it and similar products a lot.
@Ironworker229 Yeah, it creeps me out too. I donโt blame you. the only time I really ask Alexa anything other than the weather is when Iโm visiting my sister and family where they keep Alexa in the living area. Sheโs the one who gave me this thing. Iโm used to looking up info the old fashioned way on my iPhone ๐
@LindaGoodliffe The creepy part for me is that it's always there...listening...I'm probably overdue for maintenance on my tinfoil hat. Lol!
@Ironworker229 Yup, the listening is the creepy part!! I need one of those hats too.
