LS Musings....

Since the GQ announcement I have perused social media for responses to the "Citizen of the Year Award". Rob's was the one that exemplified my thoughts. If it would have been "Activist of the year" I would have agreed. Before anyone comments on this, I urge you to read this archive 👇 archive.signalscv.com/archives
It is a list from 2010 of winning essays by 6th graders on what it means to be a Good Citizen. Personally, GQ may have been able to learn a lesson from those kids. JMO

@LibertySpeaks A society that worships reality tv stars and sports figures is shallow and weak. Sometimes think we’re doomed, even when the kids get it right.

@Kit I agree.
My heroes/idols are everyday normal flawed humans. When I was a child heroes were those who stood between me and evil. That was my mindset. Those people were and still are LEO's and military. At the same time, I also know that those same people are everyday normal flawed humans. It pains me greatly when these men and women do so much and receive so little. Then because of the bad actions of a small percentage, they all suffer and are condemned for it.
