Officials tell us to stay home, order business's to stay closed, threaten citizens w/fines if they violate orders, signs on floors tell us to stay 6' apart, stores are told employees & patrons must wear masks or risk penalty. We get bombarded by Hollywood, commercials, and our local and state leaders condescendingly telling us that it is our "social contract" with our community to do this. Some are shamed if they complain, some are threatened if they question the reasons. ---->
We are told we are not protecting our community if we don't comply. So we stay home. We shutter our business. We close off our lives. We fore-go that which we want, and settle on the bare minimum of what we need. Jobs are lost, many business's never to reopen, all the while we are told this is the new normal.
@LibertySpeaks Yes they sit in their white elite silence and mockingly finger wag at ‘the poors’. I will not spend what little money I have on their movies, music etc.
Those same leaders, those same Hollywood elites, those same condescending mouth pieces are watching our towns, our cities be broken and burned. Yet we are relegated to one package of toilet paper, and told "this is the new normal".
