I'm gonna say this: Joe looks like the weight of the world has been lifted off his shoulders, because he knows he has a stellar successor coming after him.
@HealingHobbit And let's be frank: If he had declared he wasn't running last summer, it would have been a bloodbath primary. I'm not a conspiracist, but the way this all worked out was the only way to have ensured a smooth transition from him to Kamala, and have a united party. The universe works mysteriously, but towards justice.
