Isn't it ironic that "Ironic" doesn't know what irony is?
@LiberalLibrarian Most people take coincidence to mean irony.
Irony is a useful piece of storytelling, and so many people don't really know what it means... and that was perpetuated by a canadian songstress in the 90's.
@LiberalLibrarian I always thought so. I mean I like the song, but I always think “Alanis, that’s not really ironic” when I hear it.
