@GrandmaJ I used to be embarrassed that I never read any of the Harry Potter books since I was a school librarian. Not anymore.
@Novels56 @LiberalLibrarian I was a teacher and was thrilled with how those books motivated even non readers to read. It was a joy to see kids actually wanting books. It’s really disturbing to see the kind of person Rowling has turned in to, probably always was. Certainly no role model now.
