@LiberalLibrarian It was time 2 years ago. Swift action could have saved many Ukrainian lives. The US has historically dragged it's feet on these big worldwide issues.
Glad it's happening (if it continues to fall apart) but had we done it sooner, we could have avoided China's involvement.
@TrueBloodNet I completely understand the hesitancy. A collapsing nuclear power is not a good thing. But now it seems that the risk is worth it, as Russia continues to fuck with the international liberal order.
@LiberalLibrarian That kinda ignores that Russia already collapsed in 199 with no nuclear consequences. And that we knew 2 years ago that Russia had interferred w Clinton election AND the Biden election.
@TrueBloodNet Of course, in 1991 we had hopes that Russia could be inducted into the liberal democratic order. That's gone out the window.
