@LiberalLibrarian I'm all for those that want to advocate for something they believe in (assuming it's not illegal or threatens anyone's safety).
But I almost feel a bit bad for those students that have allowed themselves to be misled about the potential consequences of their actions. Making an over-the-top gesture to draw attention usually isn't the answer in the Real World (tm).
'Cause there's nothing the world likes more than the taste of your hopes, dreams, and salty tears when you FAFO.
@Synical Just to put this into perspective vis a vis my alma mater, UCLA.
It has 46,000 students and 3,000 faculty. Two hundred people were arrested. I'd wager no more than half of them were students. So these chucklefucks screwed with their classmates to make an empty gesture that won't end the war.
