@LiberalLibrarian: Nobody is a plan, neither male nor female nor otherwise. My then-wife did a variation of that shit to me, and the only thing I got over on her for it was costing her thousands and thousands of dollars to the IRS by successfully filing and re-filing earlier returns as an Aggrieved Spouse. (Lucky for me, after she ditched I discovered she left a bit of paperwork that proved her having used me unawares to game taxes.) Elsewise, the kids and I were high and dry.
@thedisasterautist Sigh. People.
@LiberalLibrarian: My dad did it, made a covert career of it, too. It's why I'm in the dinghy I'm in.
People in general are unreliable; they are reliable only as far they want to be. And IME&O, anyone who makes any manner of hay publicly or privately about how solid, ride-or-die, etc. they are is a bloody liar, a wishful-thinker, posting up for the audience and for their own self-image. -- Yes, my experience has been nearly 100% meh to bitter. The folks who've been truly There just *were*,...
@LiberalLibrarian: ...and they didn't talk it up, remind me or anyone else of it constantly, etc. They were just There, periodt.
@thedisasterautist Yep, just show up. That's worth more than platitudes.

@LiberalLibrarian If she had the brains to make those other business plans that he stole, she can make business plans to succeed for herself, now. Duuuuhh.
