@LiberalLibrarian are you aware that he is also a citizen of Great Britain, Ireland, and Canada? And they haven’t been able to get him out either? I’ve been doing some research and it appears that the Russians want the Germans to release someone in exchange for him, and the Germans won’t release him because he’s in prison for murder.
If four countries can’t get him out because the Russians want somebody that the Germans won’t release, it’s not our failure.
