@LiberalLibrarian OMG, that's sorta what happened to ours over an addendum to "recategorize" books by LGBTQ+ and black authors, as well as those seen as "objectionable content," including self-help books especially for children who've been victims of trauma. The newly hired content acquisition librarian quit, as did the multimedia guru-ess right during the public board meeting! It's always been a lovely library; I hope it doesn't close because of butt-hattery. #censorship
