Before there were Achievements in video games (thanks to Microsoft), we had challenges like what Nintendo created for this Game Keeper notebook from 1990 or so. You could track your progress in certain NES games, like Super Mario Bros. 3, TMNT, Ninja Gaiden II, and more.
