After 13 years I finally deactivated my #Twitter account today.
Within a few hours of Elon's takeover, the site degenerated into a cesspool of hate, spamming and echo chambering from ultra right wing accounts which prompted my decision to leave.
As they always say; all good things must come to an end.

@dp3894 I deactivated my account yesterday. I knew it would immediately sink into the wild wild west of violent and racist rhetoric. It truly broke my heart to do that as I had really loved it since January of 2017 when I joined. But, I deserve better than that and won't give Musk any support.
