Do young people realise that claiming the memories of events in the 1970s is false memory and myth is arrogance personified?

@LadyT Okay, you have my attention. What did who claim, now?

Do you mean they're claiming reincarnation, or they seem to remember things they saw in media as their own memories, or something else?

I mean, this sounds juicy. : )

@AskTheDevil 😆 🤣 oh no, it's quite boring, a 30 year old and his pile on mates on a social media platform telling me Protect and Survive leaflets were never distributed to any households and the internal door against the wall thing as well as the 4 minute warning are urban myths

@LadyT It's part of the arrogance of youth, but whats more, the 70s and 80s were the last decades of an age. The Digital revolution that truly began in that era changed the world in such a way that the world of our youth looks nothing like the world they came up in.

In that respect it's at least understandable. We seem as impossible to them as they do, at times, to us.

@NiveusLepus that's a really good point and they link you to articles from unreviewed blogs and websites as proof that I am wrong so that fits in with what you are saying
