So the GOP is Peronist, that's the right word, I think. Hire a an anti-political celebrity (Walker, Oz, Vance) and prop them up front while in back you rob the populace of everything.
We all do what we can. I tried to phonebook today, but 2020 burned out so many of my emergency alert switches that my nervous system just can't do it this year.
So I donated in Arizona, again. If you've got a good nervous system, but not $$$, Swing Left /Mobilize will be fielding GOTV phone banks all today and tomorrow.

I have one edit for that NYT article reporting on DeSantis's career as a high school teacher. Substitute "monstrous wackadoodle" for "firebrand" and we're good.
The school is "northwest of Atlanta in an area now represented in Congress by a conservative firebrand, Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene."

I kind of love the network sentiment meter. Makes me want to focus on the good, at least for a moment, which makes me feel good, which makes me say kind and happy things, which, with any luck, can make someone else feel good.
Feeling good doesn't have to mean not doing the work.

FYI: Posts here are simply called Posts (officially).
They *used* to be Toots, but it was changed when CoSo forked off from Mastodon.
The user guide still says Toots, but it is outdated.
I'm remembering something I hated about the other site. Any time trolls descended they would always call me by my first name,
"Blah blah blah, Lisa, blah blah blah" they'd say, using my name like a weapon. That's how I knew they were fake.
Hey, you took the flag already. Get your hands off my name.
