Surprisingly, my kids, who are avid readers were never into Harry Potter Books. They, like me, are LGBTQIA allies. It was difficult to hear that the author of the beloved series was anti-LGBTQ. I'm sure this will make lots of Harry Potter fans happy, but I don't wish the author of the books any more fame.
