I’ve spent much of today looking at shelters and other places to adopt cats. No one will replace Harley but we’ve got space for another cat so why not help out one that needs a home.
I forgot how stressful it is (not quite stressful but exciting and hopeful you’ll get picked) when trying to adopt pets.
For fun we looked up funny pet names that some pets are given when their fosters are looking for homes for them.

That’s such a tough call, coz I’d like to see the creature in action before I put a name to he/her!
I'm in favour of a pet name that matches the characteristics of the beastie. By the same token, we kept our rescue pup’s name (even though we didn’t really like it) coz she’d already had it for almost 3 months…
She’s grown into her moniker!
@Luber905 I renamed the ones I got. Harley (cat) was originally Lolita (barf), I don’t think Churro (dog) had a name, and Shadow (cat in my profile pic) was something different too that I can’t remember
They’re all love bugs, regardless of what human names we assign them…!
