I love watching interesting shows on tv and Dark is my all time fav (I think) . I’m really enjoying 1899 as well and should finish it today. I hate finishing series :(
My kids (young adults really) prefer to have CC on even when shows are in English and they also love watching foreign shows and movies (yay) .

Thank you for sharing this. I’ve been watching and need to read movies because I’m hearing impaired. At times I hear the actor saying something in English and notice the CC is not saying anything close to what was said. It is perplexing. Oh and to add to my confusion - my adult son has a linguistics degree- he changes what I am hearing to whatever language he needs to practice. Sometimes I don’t catch that I’m hearing Spanish and reading English. Good times.
@Megalicious I’m really glad this helps! It’s a wonderfully confusing show as it is and that would have make it much more confusing.
