I'm here to “meet” and talk to all sorts of people including those that I would have most likely blocked on the bird. I'm trying to get out of my own self created bubble and here is a good place to do that. Hopefully, many of you are here with similar plans. And if not, that's ok too.
@Kungfupussy Even over there I often stumbled across people I would never have thought of engaging with, but they had something interesting to say and I did. The firehose here actually seems really good for that, unlike algorithm-defined nonsense on the bird app.

@Kungfupussy The stuff I got banned for was ridiculous, too. I could get down trolling rabbit holes, sure, but the most recent thing was literally for calling someone "dumb". Seriously. Fuck that place. All the cool people pretty much I'm connected with elsewhere.
