Good morning! This is one of my favorite spinning and knitting projects ever. The shawl is nearly 700 grams, and all the yarn was spun on spindle. I started the knitting with only a fraction of the yarn in hand and spun the colors that I wanted as I went along. The purple edging might be my favorite bit.

@Kriselda It was a design decision, but probably also pragmatic. I had no idea I was going to conclude the shawl that way until I got close to the end. My favorite mood when knitting is "Hmm, I wonder what will happen next?"
