Springfield, Ohio has received at least 33 bomb threats during the past week, Governor DeWine says.

It coincides with JD Vance and former President Trump amplifying what local and state officials say are baseless claims about Haitian migrants eating people's pets and local geese in the community.

From now on, police will be sweeping all schools in Springfield each morning. They'll be present throughout the day.

@Kinnison I am glad they are taking this seriously and being proactive, but it really sucks that the GOP has become the party of terrorists.

@Kinnison I really hope they catch and throw the book at those responsible for this terrorism. And I hope voters do the same to the politicians encouraging it with a wink and a nod.

@Kinnison If Ohio is one of the many states that allow 'group defamation suits' this is an example of where it applies. Proving defamation and damage here is a slam dunk - JD is on video saying he knew it was a lie. The bomb threats and other threat well document damages. This could potentially top Dominion vs Fox in $ amounts.
