LAUNCH of the Chang'e-6 ascent stage from the lunar farside at 2338 UTC Jun 3 into a 15 x 180 km x 43 deg lunar orbit. The stage is expected to rendezvous and dock with the #Change6 orbiter and transfer its lunar samples.
#CNSA has just confirmed good ascent stage-orbiter docking in lunar orbit at 06:48 UTC, with the sample container transferred into the return capsule at 07:24 UTC.
