What's going on with Blue Sky? It seems kind of odd for someone like Dorsey to leave a position in such a manner
Jack wants a Microblogging site that is a safe place to promote Crypto and get people hooked in.
Jack hasn't been involved with Bluesky for months. and was really upset when all the people who got invites to grow the site decided to block crypto bros on sight so they were talking to a void.
Bluesky is growing. But it seems if you are not drawing in followers from other areas, you are talking to a void. Even my cat pictures get hardly any attention there. I think it is a mirage, and once the enshiatification starts as they try to make it profitable, people will leave.
@Kinnison many of my vtuber, youtuber, and streamer friends went there and they all have made same complaint about not being able to get any traction there.
yep. the is no easy way to find anyone. there is no official fire hose, and the only way you can get notice is getting a reply from your reply to by a "bluesky elder" but rarely get a follow.
I was following someone for months since they were kind of local, before they realised they didn't mutually follow me.

@Kinnison CoSo's Fire House was a HUGE selling point for me. It makes sharing, getting seen, meeting people, and exchanging ideas (and probably many more things) much more easy. I wish more social media did tha.
@Kinnison Thank you for this! A lot of my friends use Bluesky, but I never got around to it (ultimately decided to come here instead!) some I am very much out of the loop with things over there.
