A 2 year old was able to start a that was parked, shift it into drive by just pressing the brake, and crushing his Pregnant mother who thought the vehicles safety features would stop it

Trial starts this week

Ford Pintos were safer that Teslas are. and Pintos caught fire.

@Kinnison how does a 2 year old start a vehicle when they cannot even reach the break pedal? My car won’t start unless there is a foot on the break and it certainly won’t start if there’s a foot on the gas. My car is basically like “Nein!”.

Every time I see a Tesla, the car is always doing something stupid. Saw a bus take out the trunk of one once, it made the mistake of cutting in front of the heavyweight.

The few Tesla drivers I've seen here seem to think they're invincible as well.

I've not seen an accident thankfully but it's been close.

It's like Tesla drivers think The Law of Superior Tonnage doesn't apply to them.

the more safety features you put on a vehicle, the more risk drivers are willing to take

the fact the mother thought "The car has sensors, i will just stop it by standing in front" is a great example of that hubris

@Kinnison @Redskye572

Yes, but also no.

"The car has sensors as a safety feature."

The way Tesla marketed these things would lead people to believe that would work, especially if they have no idea that Teslas are in fact hot garbage.
