Well that is that. Ohio issue 1 to raise threshold to pass a state amendment to 60% fails quite spectaculrly
Nice job GOP, you just motivated the entire state to pass abortion rights and you out of office
It's nice to see some genuine awareness from Ohio voters for once. My birth state has been an embarrassment for years, but maybe they've finally suffered enough to open their eyes.
remember: just months after ending summer elections, #Ohio Republicans backtracked & organized a special election (that took a lot of money to organize) with *nothing* on the ballot other than a referendum asking voters to GIVE UP political power!
THis is going to backfire badly in November. I hope everyone in Ohio realises the GOP in Ohio do not care about it's citizens and just wants power
