are walking through Mykhailivsky monastery gate in Kyiv, while the air raid sirens are running amid a Russian attack on Ukrainian capital.
Mykhailivsky monastery was demolished by the Russians in 1930s, its valuable mosaics were stolen by Russian museums and hidden in Moscow, where they remain until now. The monastery was reconstructed from zero in 1990s with a huge financial support from the US Ukrainian diaspora.
