Nose: Grassy, light lemon, berries
Palate: honey with citrus
Finish: strong woodsy smoke finish, with a pop of maltyness that lingers an d fades to a bit a sourness

notes: really needs water back to smooth it out. Okay.

Glenfarclas 105
10~ year old speyside single malt
ABV: 60% !!!!
Color: pale Gold
Viscosity: 2 (out of 10) no legs
Nose: strong, Sherry. Creamy and nutty. Honey on toast, touch of smoky coffee.
palate: Silken, spicy and peppery oak. Almond, praline, hazelnut, dried peels, fruity.
Finish: Long, peppery and nutty.

notes: a few tears of water to really bring this one out. amazing



Day 4
Berry Bros. & Rudd Sherry Cask Matured - The Classic Range
Blended Malt Whisky
ABV: 44.2%
Color: Auburn
Viscosity: 2 (out of 10) no legs
Nose: Blood orange juice, brown sugar and dried fruit
palate: Black fruit compote, herbal tea and a little bitter dark chocolate.
Finish: a little smoke, with cake notes linger

notes: Just amazing depth and complexity

Highland Scotch whisky
ABV: 40%
Color: Yellow Gold
Viscosity: 2 (out of 10) no legs
Nose: nectarine, white flowers and milk chocolate. Toffe and coffee underneath
Palate: Tropical fruit and ginger cake add a sweet and spicy depth which a flicker of bitter herbs and vanilla
Finish: Orchard fruits and soft spices linger

notes: very nice sweet and spicy cake like scotch

15 year Blended Malt Whisky
ABV: 43%
Color: Pale Gold

Nose: espresso coffee, wood smoke and a fireplace, a touch of bitter chocolate and oak
Palate: crisp cereals, coffee beans and chocolate
Finish: long and spicy with honeyed sweetness and oak

Viscosity: 2 (out of 10) no legs
Nose: Creamy vanilla, with a touch of freshly baked apple turnover
Palate: Brown sugar and five-spice. Orchard fruit notes continue, with a hint of yellow plum too
Finish: Quite drying, though still sweet with vanilla

Color: Tawny
Viscosity: 3 (out of 10) slight legs
Nose: A chocolate orange. Potpourri, perfumed. Fruitcake, Sherry
Palate: Zesty orange, Curaçao, chocolate. Winter spice, stem ginger in syrup. Hints of anise and a little hickory.
Finish: Malty barley and smoky espresso.

notes: drank straight.. divine scotch

Color: Yellow gold
Viscosity: 3 (out of 10) slight legs
Nose: fresh lemon peel and candied orange, followed with hints of mint leaves and blossom.
Palate: floral notes and more fresh herbs. Sweet caramelized nuts, juicy tropical fruits, buttery vanilla
Finish: fruity, the woody spice picks up with prickles of warming pepper

Color: Burnished

Nose: Gristy, nuttiness with spices. Honeyed grape
Palate: gentle spice with a little vanilla, a hint of balancing peat lurking
Finish: Spicy, slightly drying, still sweet

@Kinnison The only time I’ve had whiskey was an apple wine aged in whiskey barrels and it was DIVINE. I got it in Germany and I’m *still* sad I didn’t get more and can’t find it here. That said, I haven’t tried whiskey on it’s own but that sounds fantastic.

@Kinnison I love the Balvenie. Unfortunately it's a bit out of my price range at the moment.
