Andrew Weissman saying that if Trump is reelected he will never leave. I disagree.

Trump wanted badly to be reelected in 2020. But having to run again in 2024 was never in his plans. The Presidency involves work which Trump didn't want to do the first time. He's running in 2024 to stay out of jail. And if he's reelected no similar need will be there in 2028 .

@KathyV
Wasn't Weissman implying that, if elected in 2024, Trump will burn the constitution and establish a dictatorship for life, handing the reins to Junior upon his death, ala his good friend in North Korea?

@MPCavalier Weissman said "If "Trump is elected, he will never leave office. He will seek to have the Constitution changed to permit more than 2 terms. And will claim victory in all new elections"

But seeking to change the constitution is very hard. Two thirds of the State Legislatures would have to say okay and I can't see them doing so. Trump will be a nightmare for country no question. I just don't think a third term is possible. As for Jr I am not even sure Trump would support him.

@KathyV
Gotchya. I’m still of the mind that he wouldn’t bother trying to change the Constitution. I am of the mind that he would burn it on live television, and abolish national elections, all while his minions staged another, larger, and much more violent coup. Thats how he thinks. Thats what he is thinking right now.
