This is the Parroquia de Nuestra Señora de los Dolores, where Hidalgo gave the "grito" of Mexican independence. So, Dolores Hidalgo can be considered the Philadelphia of Mexico.

When I went to visit my dad in San Miguel de Allende a few months back, we took a day trip to Guanajuato (city). Looks like Dolores Hidalgo needs to be on the itinerary next time!
