Over time I'm feeling worse, not better. I feel like we were all sickeningly betrayed (and I feel it also on a very personal level) by groups that always pretended to know better: starting with 'establishment' Rs who traded principles for imaginary power, then purist leftists who are always too good for any feasible candidate, youth who have embraced a nihilistic vision of the future, and most of all the media.

The legacy media is not truth based it's now profit based. Whatever gets clicks or screen time watched.
They also have embraced the GOP alternate facts while the Democrats are still mostly telling the truth. When alternate facts are presented in a straight faced fashion people tend to accept it.
