My wife, stepson, and I just had a three sided phone conversation about MAGA in general and my SIL in particular, and a question emerged. If there are really this many stupid toxic people in this country, and they've always been here in more or less the same proportions, how is it that no one has beaten us up and taken our lunch money yet?
And I'm talking a nation or group of nations. The 1% has had a stranglehold on our "lunch money" since the founding.
Trump made it okay to hate people in public. They are more vocal now.
Well Trump did as well but it ramped up noticeably among Republicans after Obama won.

I was just out grocery shopping. Seen in traffic....a beat up pickup truck with the following spray painted on its decaying tailgate. "Vote For Trump, Or We Will Kill You".
