I'm not a baseball managing doctor, but Kentucky clearly needs to call in to the bullpen to relieve Mitch McConnell. They're doing him no favors leaving him out there, and it reflects even worse on his handlers that they're pretending he can still pitch.

I don't claim to know all the arcane rules the Senate follows but I think he could have a stroke and be hospitalized and still not lose his seat. I just don't think senators are removed except by election.
