Professors Tribe and Hockett wrote a letter explaining the non-existent debt ceiling and how willfully wrong the republicans are acting.
This is all just political theater. The president should order Treasury to keep paing bills.

It would be helpful if the reporters covering congress read this and started pushing back on the default talk. I'm sure that isn't dramatic enough for them though.
