I like to listen to "strange and unusual" type storytellers on YouTube. #RustyWest is one of my favorites, and this is cool, he has a fundraiser for his channel, where for a donation, he'll send you a signed postcard from a national park. Got mine today, from Reid State Park in Maine. So cool!! #NationalPark

I bought cards to send to friends for Valentine's (not V-day specific cards but quirky friendship themes) and what happened? I misplaced them here in the disaster that is my home. 😭
I know I'll find them and can mail them still but I feel horrible beaue I got a card from a friend and couldn't;t reciprocate. 😢
@Joyinthecountry That is nice. I send a postcard to my grandsons every week. I think they appreciate it. At least they haven’t told me to stop doing that. I collect postcards wherever I travel. Once in awhile I get a postcard from one of my sisters. It’s like getting a smile in the mail. 😊
@GrandmaJ That is so sweet of you, bet they do enjoy getting them. Love the "smile in the mail", that's just how I felt getting it.
I still send postcards, greeting cards and hand written letters. Recipients love them.
@LnzyHou They must love you for that, Lindsay! Wish more people would do that. (Including me, lol. I'm guilty). Anymore it's so easy to send a text or email, we can forget how nice it is to get a handwritten note delivered in the mail.
Made me realize how I miss getting letters and postcards in the mail. Only bills and catalogs show up in there anymore. So the State Park postcard was a nice surprise!!
