I just learned that Trump sent to Putin Covid tests in the height of the pandemic and people here were dying by the hundreds and needed them urgently.

To make matters worse, Trump & Co were discouraging (if not obstructing) testing here in part because the case numbers would reflect poorly on TFG. Also if someone doesn't test, it's easier to attribute their death(s) to non- COVID causes.
