Trump would act ‘like a little elementary schoolchild,’ former spiritual adviser James Robison says https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2022/11/17/trump-spiritual-adviser-criticism-child/
The problem is that as Christians our eyes are supposed to be set on the eternal. Robison is so wrapped up in trying to fix the world--a world that cannot be fixed by any human power--that he has lost sight of this. Meanwhile, he is paving the road to hell for people through his actions.
@John_Scotus It's stories like this that give me cause to remind myself that not only is the greatest commandment to love God and to love our neighbors as ourselves, but that "all of the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments." I.e. it doesn't matter what we're pursuing - if we aren't doing it in Love, we are missing the mark.
