If you are a guy and your first impulse when you disagree with a woman is to denigrate her looks, then maybe you need to take a good look in the mirror.
@John_Scotus tbh unless someone directly asks you what you think of their appearance, you can file it under "nunya". What people modify to feel good about themselves isn't really a matter for commentary or debate, barring people getting things like Nazi symbols, which are a clear indicator that they're likely to commit a hate crime and want everyone to know it.
@John_Scotus The majority of people are just normal looking. Normal is lumpy and obviously flawed. That's OK. Good looks are nice but they are a 2-edged sword: pretty people are a blank canvas for ppl's fantasies, and women especially are pressured and attacked for not being good fantasies. PPL think they would like to be handsomer, but they should wish for more charm instead. Charm makes even ugly people sexy and appealing.
@ToolPackinMama I agree completely. IMHO opinion, the most beautiful woman in the 20th century was Amelia Earhart, though many people nowadays would think her plain. I had a teacher who knew Eleanor Roosevelt when he was young, and he swore that she was the most beautiful woman he had ever met.

Here’s something to ponder:
Appearance is irrelevant, fleeting, and entirely subjective. It doesn’t accurately reflect a person’s intelligence, ethics, ability. It’s entirely superficial and of no value on judging character, capability, or humanity. It has been used to repress, discriminate, objectify, deceive, shame, and manipulate. Physical appearance is wrongly overvalued.
Come to think of it, for the most part it really isn't right to denigrate someone's looks at all, no matter who they are, unless they're a degenerate, half-wit slob who had the nerve to say that one of the most beautiful women on the planet was "no longer a ten."
