One of the things that I missed most when moving to the West Coast from the East Coast was that there were no chestnuts out here. Canned water chestnuts abound, but old fashioned Italian chestnuts are just NOT to be found, no matter where I looked. This year I broke down and ordered two pounds of them from Amazon and they just arrived. They look delicious.
