my eldest daughter started out as a lefty .... a teacher tried to change her until I stepped in to stop the whole forcing her to be a righty nonsense .... I had her moved to a different teacher'ss classroom, and that teacher finally agreed to teach her both ways.
She later tested as gifted. The doctor said that by allowing her to develop both sides of her brain equally was a benefit.
She still is ambidextrous at age 40 .....
@DJNoneYa I am turning 60 next year and my brother and I are both basically lefites. I play guitar and golf right handed due to cost of left-handed instruments in the 70's. I have twins that are like me. My problem is the right brain left brain battle...I am an artistic engineer...an internal battle...
@John_Ripley I have a birth defect in the Corpus callosum area that short circuits the right-left brain transmittal.....Neurologically it can be a pita but I can't do things equally with my hands anymore due to breaking my left wrist as a child
