this is so awful. my stomach turns just thinking about it.
and it feels like a slo-mo car crash that i am observing but can't prevent or halt.
i know this happens all over the world. but it's particularly nauseating that, when confronted by direct accusations of partisanship, they protest their complete impartiality.
thereby adding dishonesty to cronyism.
